Cossington proudly opened its New Village Hall on 12 November 2011 and it has been non-stop ever since. Existing users have moved seamlessly to the new premises and new activities have started.
Trivetts Hall has proved to be a wonderful venue for activities from classical concerts, modern dance, jazz, drama, and every kind of celebration such as weddings, christenings, birthdays, anniversaries. The flexible light and sound systems have been successfully adapted for every need. The bar has been good too!
The smaller Broderip Room has proved an adaptable space for functions, meetings and a regular fitness class.
Amongst our regular users are Montessori and Dance schools, Bridge and Table Tennis clubs, Pilates, Badminton, Vintage Motor Cycle club, Modern Dance, Jazz, Friends and Neighbours and our Parish Council.

Coronavirus Latest

5 July

It is hard to believe that it is just over 100 days since 20 March when the Village Hall Management Committee made the inevitable decision to close the Hall in line with Government instructions.
We are now pleased to announce that the Hall has reopened in a limited way and with one way access as shown. As you will know Early Years teaching was permitted to recommenced in early June and we were delighted to welcome Cherry Trees Montessori back in a limited way on the 29th. This has been a great success due particularly to the incredibly hard work put in by Margaret and Sarah of Cherry Trees and Sandra and Jindra our cleaners. They will be continuing till end of term on 15 July.
Unfortunately government instructions will not currently permit our many other activities to commence.
